My Knitting: #7 Madge Hat for Darling Daughter

A winter hat for school must be in plain black. So I found the pattern for this Madge hat from Rowan. It was knitted with 1 ball of Rowan Big Wool, 100% Merino Wool on 10mm bamboo needles.

The flower? The patterns were printed and sent very kindly with the wool order by Joanne from www.woolandbuttons.co.uk. I ran out of black wool on the final row of the flower so used some purple Rowan Drift wool, as Darling Daughter will be in the purple house at school!
